The Associate Registrar has primary responsibility for developing the course offerings schedule for all semesters and all campuses. Responsibilities include a comprehensive review of curriculum blocks and room availability to ensure efficient use of classrooms and support of all programs and cohorts. The Associate Registrar provides solution-based recommendations to resolve discrepancies and/or conflicts to the University Registrar, Deans and Provost.Responsibilities:Develop, schedule and process the course offerings schedule for all terms and all campuses. Responsible for the data entry/integrity of course and academic event information into SIS and AdAstra systems.Working with deans/designee to develop and maintain, course blocks and clusters to facilitate block registration for all terms and with departments, document updates to general pool classroom scheduling policies and procedures and provide data-based guidance on policies and proceduresConduct comprehensive review of curriculum blocks and room availability to ensure efficient use of classrooms and support of all programs, cohorts and departmental needs. Considers classroom resources, faculty needs and departmental preferencesManage the production of classroom assignments using AdAstra and Colleague SIS to schedule course sections into classroomsEvaluate scheduling and classroom usage and will provide solution-based recommendations to resolve classroom discrepancies, conflicts/double booking to the University Registrar who will coordinate recommended changes for facility upgrades and seating capacity changes.Schedule and run associated meetings with Registration and Add/Drop committee members to identify potential deficiencies in course offerings and electivesCoordination of the registration checks/balances; specifically manage the multiple attempts and prerequisite drop process in collaboration with the CASE Office to ensure data integrity of all student registrationsCoordinate the creation of the final examination schedules for all termsManage the new student registration process (MTS) and oversee changes with the Admissions Office and coordinates with the Associate Registrar CMDA to ensure students are assigned to accurate degree audits and associate catalog yearsManage the processing of all enrollment forms related to Veterans benefit administration for all campusesRepresent the Registrar?s Office on official university committees as requiredPerform other work as directed by University Registrar and/or Senior Associate RegistrarQualifications:Required: A bachelor?s degree and a minimum of three years of experience in a supervisory role within a registrar?s office or closely aligned office Strong knowledge of student academic record keeping practices, policies and procedures Proficient in computer use and report generation Ability to interpret institutional policies, plans, objectives as it relates to the office Strong interpersonal skills and ability to prepare oral presentationsDesired: A master?s degreeMCPHS offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits that includes a substantial contribution toward the cost of medical and dental insurance, generous time off benefits, and a significant pension plan contribution.
