The Division of Enrollment Management (EM) at the University ofTennessee, Knoxville, (UT) invites applications and nominations for an AssistantDirector to serve on our International Recruitment team. The Enrollment Management (EM) division comprises morethan 150 full-time staff who serve our students through the followingdepartments and functions: Undergraduate Admissions, International Recruitment,Transfer Center, One Stop Student Services, Financial Aid and Scholarships,University Registrar, EM Communications, and the Veterans Resource Center.
Functions and Responsibilities: Manages the day-to-day operations and personnelfor International Recruitment (IR). Directs and supervise staff focused onrecruitment, outreach, and admission of international students. Collaborateswith Director and recruitment team to define, create, and implementinternational strategic plans that will help to achieve internationalenrollment goals. Responsible for establishing an international agencyagreement strategy. Serves as primary liaison between UT and recruitmentagencies and is responsible for the negotiations and management ofinternational agency contracts. Provides high-level services to students andtheir families. Represents UT and Undergraduate Admissions at events. Reviewsprospective international student files and makes independent recommendationson the admissibility of applicants. Provides leadership and assistance in theevaluation of international and high school academic transcripts. Researchesand evaluates foreign credentials in student applications.
