Job Summary: The IT Analyst III/OnBase Software Analyst leadsthe technical designs development, modification, and documentation of complexsoftware solutions (purchased software, internally developed software, softwaremodifications, and software interfaces) that execute independently or as partof a larger information system.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Identifies and defines OnBase business needs; identifies opportunities forimprovement and develops the business plan.
Conducts stakeholder analysis, plans the execution of business analysistasks and communication, updates or changes the approach to business analysis asrequired.
Documents business, task, and workflow processes using industry standard methods including business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, diagrams, flow charts, etc., ensuring that these deliverables can be used to design a solution to the stated business problem.
Reviews OnBase technical solution designs from a business point of view and recommends alternatives.
Consults with subject matter experts, technical experts, end users and other stakeholders to gather information about functions, features, data requirements, input requirements, output requirements, interfaces with other systems, etc.
Serves as liaison and resource to stake holders, developers, and other project team members throughout each phase of the process to help clarify and/or resolve issues related to requirement, design, testing and acceptance specifications.
Support/troubleshoot/fix issues, which may involve configuration changes.
Provide expertise in deploying Lean 6 Sigma programs and initiatives, and direct teams to achieve desired results using Lean 6 Sigma methodologies.
Support the analysis, planning, design, implementation and evaluation of key projects to help UTHSC achieve their goals.
Interpret needs and requirement, translate concepts into practice, identify process improvement opportunities, and quantify results and trends.
Communicates with vendor to obtain additional support on projects, to troubleshoot issues, and to manage relationship.
Coordinates with vendor and ITS staff members to ensure software upgrades are performed to OnBase in a timely manner, to manage the communication to the campus community, and to oversee user testing and implementation of upgrades.
