This individual will focus on data analysis of NGS data generated from whole genome, medical exome, and gene panel testing. This individual must be able to work independently and with a team of geneticists to interpret sequence variants in clinical cases. This individual will also interface with bioinformaticists in developing the analysis pipeline. This individual will be located in the Genetics/Genomics Section of the OHSU Knight Diagnostic Laboratory and will report to the Laboratory Directors. This is a good opportunity for long-term longevity in a clinical environment for the right individual who has experience in genetics and genomics, good thinking skills, and the ability to work well with a team. The selected candidate will use expert level judgment to interpret sequencing variants in clinical cases, and apply interface and direct bioinformatics in developing analysis pipelines.
