Perform various clerical duties and administrative duties, including but not limited to: word processing, data entry, scheduling, answering telephones and processing calls.
Orient and facilitate all new and rotating clinical staff rotating through ORs
Assist and participate in special projects for the Anesthesiology Service, Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine.
Ensure confidentiality for sensitive documents as per department and institution guidelines
You will work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives and goals
Coordinate and schedule weekly anesthesia meetings and regional block tasks
Prepare documents for weekly end times, bi-weekly consult lists and upload documents to Teamshare
Maintain telephone lists and updated guidelines for the department
Support on boarding for new attendings including oritentation manual, fire safety training, scrub and security access
Maintain Versus Badge Management
Maintain copy machine, supplies, office cleanliness and physical organization
Bachelor's degree prefered
Excellent Microsoft Office software skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Exceptional organization and communication skills.
Ability to prioritize/multi-task, work independently and handle stressful situations and deadlines. #LI-POST
