We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst to join the growing Development Operations team within MSKs Development Department.
Development focuses on fundraising for MSK, and the Development Operations team creates innovative technology and process solutions to meet our fundraising goals. We ensure that every solution meets the needs of our users, is aligned with the organizations goals, and is implemented seamlessly.
In this role you will work closely with users, management, software engineers, and our vendor partners to design and implement new processes and define best practices across Development. You will analyze and advance our CRM system functionality and other applications serving MSK Development.
Create standard operating procedures and improve current workflows to optimize efficiency
Analyze CRM system functionality, identify opportunities for improvement, and work with all parties to develop enhancements
Analyze the expressed business needs of application users and propose solutions to those needs
Evaluate change impact on teams, processes, and data management and plan accordingly
As a system admin, configure and update our CRM application to meet the evolving needs of our department
Support team efforts to monitor and improve our CRM data quality
Lead design sessions or requirements gathering for new processes and system customizations
Review functional specs and ensure clarity of expressed needs for the requested outcome
Test and validate system functionality for customizations and upgrades
Support change management efforts by developing process documentation, workflows, user guides, and facilitating training
Provide users with advanced application and business process support
Capable of building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions

A Bachelors Degree and a minimum of 2-4 years of related experience, OR
A Masters Degree (preferred) and a minimum of 1-2 years of related experience
Proficiency with Blackbaud CRM, Salesforce, or other CRM system
Experience in the philanthropy sector is a plus (not required)
Experience with Jira and Confluence is a plus (not required)
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
Proficiency with large data sets and highly technical processes
Strong writing skills
Excellent interpersonal skills and an exceptional ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
