The non-tenure track position at the rank of Lecturer I of Political Science within the Division of Social Work, Behavioral and Political Sciences of the Brailsford College of Arts and Sciences will teach, grade assignments and record grades and serve on committees.
Responsible for teaching Political Science courses ? one or more courses as needed.
Responsible for keeping records, posting grades (mid-term & final), submitting attendance reporting, and mentoring/advising students.
Serve on Division, College and University committees.
Attend University-sponsored activities, such as general student assembly, student recruitment fairs, graduation convocations, and the like.
Engage in professional development activities.
Other duties as assigned by department head.
Required Education and Experience:
Master?s Degree in Political Science
Two (2) years of related experience

Ph.D in Political Science or a closely related field from an accredited institution
More than two years teaching experience at the University level
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
