The Clinical Research Manager will assist in preparation of protocols to the institutional review board. S/he will coordinate clinical trials and acts as intermediary for regulatory agencies, trial sponsors, investigators, and research coordinators.
Supervises the Clinical Research Coordinators in conducting the Clinical Trials and ensures that all regulations and guidelines are being met
Works closely with the Clinical Trials Office and medical director during budget negotiations and contract execution
Assists in the identification, writing and application for grant support
Monitors Clinical Trial procedures and maintains invoices
Collaborates with research physicians and clinical coordinators to develop and implement strategies for enrolling patients into clinical trials
Assists in data collection and data management
Other related duties as assigned
Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent in education, training and experience, plus three years of related experience.
Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
Thorough knowledge of good clinical practice guidelines and FDA regulations pertaining to clinical research trails.
Participation in the medical surveillance program.
