Working with the Associate Directors at the Center for the Science of Social Connection (CSSC), the Program Coordinator assists in the daily maintenance and coordination of program tasks pertaining to Functional Analytic Psychotherapy (FAP) and the Live with Awareness, Courage and Love (ACL) global project, including providing some budgetary administrative support.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESUnder general direction and supervision of the Associate Directors of CSSC, perform work using knowledge and experience specific to the functions and activities of implementation and dissemination related to Functional Analytic Psychotherapy and the Live with Awareness, Courage and Love global project. Specific duties include, but are not limited to the following:Administrative and Program SupportProvide administrative and program support for Associate Directors. Assist in preparation and coordination of materials and make arrangements for training events, workshops and other educational activities. Tasks include: Respond to correspondence pertaining to world-wide ACL group leadership and training participation, help create training protocols, act as facilitator in research studies.Community Building and SupportResponsible for global outreach facilitating the dissemination of methods for decreasing loneliness and improving interpersonal connection worldwide.Special EventsFacilitate Skill building groups using materials developed by the Center.Expenditure and Budget ReconciliationResponsible for tracking and reconciling expenditures on the Associate Director's budget(s), including processing reimbursements, ordering supplies, maintaining and tracking use of ProCard.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:High school graduation or equivalent and two years of experience the program specialty or equivalent education and experience.REQUIRED SKILLS:Excellent interpersonal and communication skillsFamiliarity with the principles of behavior change and social connectionExcellent organizational skills and reliabilityExperience with video conferencing software (Zoom, Skype)Experience with basic fiscal bookkeeping functions - tracking budget and expenditures; reconciling expendituresComfort and experience with general internet/web-based researchReliable, able to work independently, with planned instruction and guidanceProfessional and mature experience working with diverse constituents and communitiesExperience in leading/co-leading trainings with diverse groups of peopleExcellent word processing skills and experience in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)DESIRED:Experience with principles of Functional Analytic Psychotherapy and the Awareness, Courage & Love global projectBackground and experience working in higher education4+ years experience in administrative, program coordinator, fiscal specialist or similar positionApplication Process:The application process for UW positions may include completion of a variety of online assessments to obtain additional information that will be used in the evaluation process.
