Emergency Preparedness fulll-time non-tenure track academic position - (1900012R)
The University of Maryland Baltimore, Carey School of Law, Center for Health and Homeland Security (CHHS) is now accepting applications for a full-time non-tenure track academic position. The candidate will work directly with the Montgomery County, MD Department of Health and Human Services, Public Health Emergency Preparedness & Response (PHEPR).
Develop, implement, and administer the Volunteer Programs in conjunction with the Montgomery County PHEPR.
Build and operationalize Montgomery County's existing public health emergency response plans and capabilities related to volunteer services.
Contribute to the planning, development, and implementation of county-wide health and medical volunteer recruitment and training programs and assist with volunteer initiative.
Advanced degree required
Emergency management or public health experience preferred
Experience working with volunteer cohorts preferred
Experience working with health and medical response and/or recovery missions preferred
Experience working with healthcare institutions and/or clinical providers preferred

Dates of Service/ Time Commitment: This is a full-time salaried position, 40 hours a week.
