The Virginia Military Institute Department of English, Rhetoric, and Humanistic Studies is seeking applications for two tenure-track assistant professors, beginning August 2020:
a tenure-track position with expertise in rhetoric and composition;
a tenure-track position with expertise in rhetoric and composition, with interest and/or experience in teaching oral communication
The incumbents will teach three courses per semester, including Core and upper-level courses, in an interdisciplinary English major with a central focus on rhetoric. Ph.D. required. Those with professional interest in classical rhetoric, civic engagement, and/or writing centers are encouraged to apply.
