Qualifications Required -Experience scheduling, coordinating and managing multiple and complex electronic calendars, meetings, projects and events with skill to reason and discern priorities when determining executive action. -Experience supporting department Managers and staff. -Project management experience to advance initiatives -Experience scheduling small and large meetings with internal and external participants. -Experience communicating via telephone and in person with a wide diversity of people (faculty, staff and students). -Customer service experience.
Preferred -Sufficient technical skills to provide basic troubleshooting support for computer and other standard electronic equipment used in teaching circumstances. -Familiarity with, or ability to learn, campus policies and procedures for general administrative functions including travel policies, purchasing, equipment inventory, event guidelines, etc.

Responsibilities The Executive Assistant (Admin Asst. III) frequently interacts with the Vice Chancellors/Deans, as well as the highest levels of UC Davis Health, the School of Medicine (SoM) and University-wide administration. This position interacts directly with leaders from external agencies and institutions (ACGME, AAMC, NBME and other universities, state government, etc.). In addition to managing activities and schedules for the OME Deans, they will work closely with the Project Analyst to provide support for special projects and meetings spanning all teams within medical education.
