This position with the Clinical Affairs Information Technology Services (CAITS) group within University Information Technology Services (UITS) fulfills several key functions in supporting CAITS' Directors, Managers, staff and providing back-up assistance to the Associate Vice President. Primarily, this role coordinates all meeting logistics and travel arrangements for assigned management, drafts correspondence and purchasing requisitions, and other general office and clerical functions. This position also provides superior client services and administrative functions in support of various initiatives and activities within CAITS.
REQUIRED: Associate’s degree and three years of administrative assistant experience.

Ability to effectively communicate and exchange information with a wide variety of individuals, excellent interpersonal skills, and a customer service orientation. Strong organizational and multitasking skills including the ability to manage multiple priorities. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of IU's FIS and HRIS. Ability to analyze complex information and exercise independent judgment.
