The EHR Team Manager will be responsible for the implementation of the Interfaces team's scope of responsibility within the Electronic Health Record project for the University of Kentucky HealthCare enterprise. The Interfaces Team Manager will have oversight of the work to determine the business needs for interfaces and the configuration of interfaces. This Team Manager will collaborate with application and teams and project leadership to develop, document, and test downtime and recovery processes.
The Team Manager will be accountable for managing the team's progress to plan. The Team Manager will work with project leadership and team to develop and maintain specific work plans and task lists, as well as monitor progress of relevant workflow analysis, design, and configuration schedules. This role will execute a quality management plan tailored to the specific area of responsibility. This role will act as the primary contact and coordinator for the specific area of expertise regarding questions and issues. The Team Manager will lead weekly team meetings, manage analysts, and conduct performance evaluations. The Manager will document team status, issues, and risks. This position requires knowledge of vendors as well as confidentiality and privacy guidelines. Team Managers must remain aware of and follow all federal and state regulations as well as UKHC policies. The Team Manager will collaborate with the business, project leadership, and other teams to ensure the design, build, and activation is successful and meets the needs of the business. This project is time limited.

Required Related Experience:
Required License/Registration/Certification :
Selected vendor certification within 10 weeks after the successful completion of training.
Master's Degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Business Administration, or health care preferred. Health care experience in electronic health records preferred. Leadership experience in health care or information technology preferred.
