The Department of Pathology & Microbiology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) is seeking a motivated and independent postdoctoral research associate to work in a lab that focuses on the colonization of various staphylococcal species on the surface of the skin. The qualified individual will work with Dr. Paul Fey and other faculty in the Center for Staphylococcal Research. Preference will be given to those individuals with a Ph.D., M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent in bacteriology and significant experience in staphylococcal genetics and metabolism.
