Performs administrative duties of moderate complexity for the purchasing department. Performs functions of typing, filing, recordkeeping in Microsoft Office. Answers phones in a department office; orders supplies; may greet students, staff, and visitors; provides assistance with purchasing processes; performs various other clerical duties.
High School Diploma or equivalent and over three (3) months of full-time general clerical experience. Must pass skills assessment at the basic level of proficiency in Microsoft Word 2000 software.
Experience in a purchasing department is preferred.
