The School of Arts and Sciences-Newark at Rutgers University-Newark seeks candidates for a full-time, calendar-year, non-tenure track Assistant Professor of Professional Practice beginning on or about September 1, 2019. The academic department will depend on the field of the successful candidate, who must have a demonstrated commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching through advancing and supporting initiatives that deepen pedagogical knowledge and sustain motivated learning in all students. In addition to teaching in the Honors College and the academic department(s), the successful candidate will serve as the Associate Director of the Rutgers University-Newark Honors College, on a team reimagining the role of the Honors College in a research university with a strong commitment to RU-N's identity as an anchor institution. Minimum Education and Experience:
Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree. Demonstrated experience and excellence in undergraduate teaching, administration, and collaboration.
