This work associated with this position includes characterization of the circulating and tumor-infiltrating lymphocyte populations in human tumors and associated murine models, involving analyses of the genetic diversity of T cell receptor and B cell receptor repertoires and gene-expression profiling using next-generation sequencing and single-cell sorting and sequencing techniques in the same models.
Education and Experience:
Demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work.
Must be experienced in processing mouse or human samples for research or diagnostic methods and must have computer literacy.
Certification in Flow Cytometry and Molecular Diagnostics or Genetics is recommended, as is facility with basic scripting in the Python and R programming languages, though these are not required.
Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Biophysics, Bioinformatics/Computational Biology, Chemistry, Clinical Laboratory Science, Genetics, Immunology, Medical Technology, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Physiology, Pharmacology, or Zoology is preferred.
