This position will manage activities of the Engineering Student Services (ESS) center, be responsible for planning and coordination of outreach activities, student support activities, student success initiatives, advising support, events and administrative support.
Coordinate activities of the Engineering Student Services (ESS) center: support the Director of ESS in ongoing student success initiatives, schedule advisor appointments, and prepare probation appeals documentation; assist and prepare for multiple student and corporate events; manage front desk activities and supervise student workers; purchase supplies and maintain Procard purchases; assist with deposits and support for career fair events/reconcile credit card reports each month. Organize Engineering Summer Camps: manage the summer camp website, intake and processing of documents and registration and acceptance notifications; interface with Health Services, Housing, Dining Facilities, UTA Planetarium and other UT Arlington offices; purchase all camp supplies, T-shirts, snacks, etc; ensure completion of all summer camp staff compliance processes related to Human Resources documentation; coordinate field trips and the lunch programs and transportation with local ISD’s; assist with the award ceremonies for summer camps; manage daily attendance documents and other student data. Organize Outreach activities, including Engineering Saturdays and other events: manage external database for all related events; assist in grant management, data analysis, reports; work closely with Assistant Director for Recruiting and Outreach and student ambassadors; prepare all participant information and supplies; support ongoing outreach initiatives throughout the year.
Bachelor's degree and Two (2) years of experience in a related area or the equivalent experience. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Experience working with People Soft, UT Share, UT Flow, Grants and Accounting, Microsoft Access database software, Microsoft office, Good Communication and Interpersonal Skills, Ability to Manage Multiple Projects, Ability to Adapt to New Requirements and situations Quickly, MyMav.
