Reporting to the Director of Teaching, Learning, and Digital Scholarship, the STEM Research and Instruction Librarian (Temp) is a library liaison, instructor for undergraduate science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) subject areas. The STEM Librarian (Temp) will join other Research and Instruction Librarians in providing instruction and consultation for courses in their assigned subject areas as well as foundational first year courses. We seek an instructor who demonstrates knowledge of trends in undergraduate science education and a commitment to diversity, inclusion, and accessibility in learning environments.
This is a temporary position while we conduct a search for a new Science and Technology Librarian. We are anticipating this will be a 3 month assignment with the possibility of extension.

Required Qualification Summary:
At least 1 year experience as an academic librarian; MLIS with substantial undergraduate coursework in the Sciences; or relevant combination of professional library experience and degree in a related field; Demonstrate teaching experience at the undergraduate level.
