Works in partnership with HR Client Services staff, hiring managers, and budget officers to ensure hiring objectives are accomplished in a timely manner. Responsible for conducting daily operations of full employment lifecycle including job description evaluation, screening and processing applications, and recruiting and hiring processes for effective and efficient hiring. Works with manager to ensure consistency with Gonzaga's Mission, EEO/Affirmative Action, and diversity initiatives. Provides exemplary customer service through accurate and comprehensive communication regarding and timely processing of recruitment, hiring and onboarding. This incumbent proactively contributes to creating and maintaining Gonzaga University as a welcoming environment for all through effective implementation of recruitment and onboarding practices.
Bachelor's degree in Business or related field; and/or equivalent years of experience in recruiting.
2 or more years of professional experience in human resources.
Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse communities and people from diverse backgrounds.
Demonstrated ability to maintain professional standards of confidentiality.
Proficiency with MS Office and data entry/database maintenance skills.
Demonstrated organizational and multi-tasking skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy of work.
