The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University of Washington (UW) in Seattle is seeking a full-time faculty member at the Clinical Assistant Professor or Clinical Associate Professor without tenure level for an academic appointment in the Clinician-Clinician pathway. This position has a 12-month service period and is anticipated to start November 1, 2019. In addition, candidates must be board certified or board eligible in Maternal-Fetal Medicine and ideally have at least two years of practical experience in a clinical setting. Candidates must possess excellent clinical skills, competency in outpatient obstetrical imaging, and comfort in different high volume outpatient clinical practices as well as commitment to education and research consistent with the academic mission of the University of Washington.
University of Washington faculty engage in teaching, research and service. Candidates will be expected to provide medical services at the University of Washington affiliated hospitals, train residents and medical students, and make academic contributions to the field.

Candidates must have a MD degree and must have completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology. In addition, candidates must be board certified or board eligible in Maternal-Fetal Medicine. A foreign equivalent is acceptable.
All candidates must be eligible for and able to maintain a Washington State medical license. In order to be eligible for University sponsorship for an H-1B visa, graduates of foreign (non-U.S.) medical schools must show successful completion of all three steps of the U.S. Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE), or equivalent as determined by the Secretary of Health and Human Services.
