CONTACT CENTER REPRESENTATIVE , MIT Federal Credit Union (MITFCU) , to be responsible for delivering outstanding member service, addressing all member issues and inquiries in a timely manner, and being informative and responsive to member's requests while offering products and services that enhance their financial relationship. Responsibilities include answering all incoming calls/inquires in accordance with departmental standard; checking and responding to all incoming voicemail and email messages within established guidelines; opening new memberships, closing or adding products and services to existing accounts, or updating member account information as necessary; processing account transfers, payments, and stop payments; providing balance information and statement copies; providing general account maintenance; daily balancing and reconciliation of payments and deposits; and assisting with annual dormant account program.
REQUIRED : a minimum of one year of experience in a credit union, bank, or the financial industry; a high school diploma or its equivalent; superior member service skills and ability to form long-term business relationships; excellent internal service skills; clear/concise verbal and written communication skills; and working knowledge of personal computers.
