Job Summary: Under general supervision, manage CoE Distance Learning Program operations within the Dean's Office. Manage the approved course requests with proper room scheduling, recording/live streaming coordination, assuring/assisting with DLP-students registration. Conduct recruitment, hiring, and training programs for student-staff camera operators as/if necessary for distance learning activities. Assign work schedules and manage student staffing directly supporting distance learning classes. Support development and manage strategic relationships with employers and key educational and technology organizations, industries, national laboratories, professional associations, foundations, and other entities that can help COE reach an expanded audience for distance learning.
Physical Demands: Maneuver and lift camera equipment weighing up to 25 lbs. Bend, stoop, and reach to move equipment, materials and supplies.
Work Environment: Work a variable schedule between 7:30 am and 7:30 pm to meet the needs of the program.

Minimum Qualifications: -Organizational skills to work with changing priorities and demanding workload, to manage and monitor multiple projects simultaneously, and to meet multiple and variable priorities and deadlines.
-Experience providing long range planning including strategic planning for long term growth and program development.
-Interpersonal and communication skills to effectively communicate and interact with Dean's Office, campus departments, Principal Investigators, CAOs, and staff to ensure compliance with UCD policy and procedures.
-Analytical, investigative, and decision-making skills with initiative to elicit information, anticipate problems, formulate solutions, and implement changes.
-Experience using accounting and financial documents; purchase orders, purchase requisitions, work orders, and inventory records.
-Customer service and interaction skills to effectively communicate in person, by telephone, and in writing.
-Writing, grammar, and proofreading skills to produce correspondence, manuals, and professional materials.
-Computer skills and experience with internet applications, web browsers and other similar utilities.
Preferred Qualifications: -Knowledge of UC Davis and UCD Extension registrar policies and enrollment requirements.
-Experience with Microsoft Office applications and Adobe Acrobat.
