To provide excellent customer service and advanced administrative support. Handle heavy front counter and/or call volume, customer service, and administrative tasks with the frequent exercise of independent judgement. Engage in various records duties and other office transactions.
Responsible for delivering customer service at the front counter and/ or the communication center for inquiries in relations to Admissions, Records & Registration, Financial Aid, Student Financials, Recruitment, and Orientation or refer as appropriate. Both areas duties include answering routine questions and providing students with information about the status of their records and entering all inquiries into the database. The front counter duties also include Administrative support, including accepting documents, payments, responding to emails and questions that are subject to the University retention policies. Provide triage services when needed during peak times. File all paperwork completed by the processing area. Log all courier deliveries into the database. Front Counter: Administrative support, including data entry for courier deliveries, incoming, transactional paperwork, and for entering all in-person inquiries, phone, and emails, question and provide answers for documents that are subject to the University retention policies. Support the front counter as needed.
High School. Three (3) years customer service experience or the equivalent experience.
Experience with various office products such as: scanning, Microsoft software products (Outlook, Word, Excel), multi-line phone, credit card machine, cash register, etc Good communication skills. Experience working in a higher education setting Experience working with integrated student information system, such as PeopleSoft (MyMav).
