The Senior Program Coordinator provides operational support for the MSL Program. Represents the program internally and externally on administrative and operational issues and ensures the execution of programming. Aids with internal and external communication and outreach efforts, generate and manage content for internal communications and social media, and assists in the development and planning of and participation in recruitment events.

Assists with oversight of day-to-day operations and ensures they are appropriately managed, efficient and effective.
Assists with event planning, including educational, student, and alumni programming, workshops, meetings, etc.
Assists with planning and execution of student orientation, registration, student life activities, graduation, etc.
Oversees communication between faculty assistants and MSL Program to ensure faculty needs are being met
Creates and executes plan for social media outreach to current students, alumni and prospective students.
Manages, contributes to, and distributes weekly newsletter to students
Manages alumni newsletter, including developing content and solicitation of alumni contacts for stories/profiles.
Develops, directs, and maintains MSL student portal in Canvas and ongoing internal communications.
Maintains, contributes to and manages the MSL blog, including developing content calendar, writing posts, managing staff and student contributions and creating and executing strategies to grow readership.
Manages MSL presence on LinkedIn and Twitter by creating and publishing content.
Outreach & Recruitment
Assists with development and execution of recruitment strategy.
Helps manage/oversee logistics for recruitment events.
Assists with new student recruitment via participation in recruitment events, including local events on-campus and in Chicago, and traveling nationally for recruitment fairs/conferences/university visits as needed.
Supports student affairs programming and operations at a programmatic level.
Creates and maintains positive and nurturing environment for MSL students.
Serves as a point of contact for students and assists with administrative issues.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a bachelor's or higher degree.
2 years program/project administration or other relevant experience.
