The Department of Biological Sciences at Oakland University invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in Physiology. Competitive applicants will have a Ph.D. and at least three years of postdoctoral experience in a relevant field with a strong record of success exemplified by high quality research publications. Successful candidates are expected to establish a robust research program addressing questions about fundamental physiological processes in humans or animals. Accordingly, vigorous extramural funding as well as undergraduate and graduate (MS and PhD) student mentoring are expected. The candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses related to physiology. Candidates must demonstrate experience with or a commitment to diversity and inclusion. Laboratory space and competitive start-up funds will be provided.
