The Department of Management and Global Business at Rutgers Business School – Newark and New Brunswick invites applications from current PhD students in AACSB-accredited business programs for the position of Lecturer to teach courses in Management, Business Strategy, International Business, Organizational Behavior, Leadership or Ethics at the undergraduate and/or MBA level on both the Newark and New Brunswick campuses. The position of Lecturer is a one-semester-only part-time appointment for the Fall 2019 semester. At the expiration of the appointment, there is no expectation that the position will be renewed.
Responsibilities: The individual hired for this position will be responsible primarily for teaching undergraduate and MBA-level courses offered by the Department of Management and Global Business at the New Brunswick or Newark campuses (or both) as determined by the Department Chair.
Requirements: Applicants must have demonstrated excellence in teaching in one or more of the areas listed above or related areas. Successful candidates must meet AACSB standards for faculty qualification and currency.
Current enrollment in a PhD program of an AACSB-accredited business program is required. ABD (all-but-dissertation) is acceptable. The candidate's course of study should be in the areas of teaching responsibility described above. A Master’s Degree in a related field is a plus, but not required.
Teaching load: 6 credits for the Fall 2019 semester.
