Bachelorâs degree in Nursing required. Candidate without BA degree will be required to obtain within one year of hire.
Minimum two (2) years experience as RN, acute care experience preferred.Â

The Neurosurgery Nurse Coordinator manages the patientâs health status across the continuum of care. Coordinates patient care under the direction of physician providers in neurosurgery, and in collaboration with non-physician providers (NPP) and resident physicians. Responsible for pre-operative and post-operative ambulatory care for neurosurgical patient population, and coordination of care for patients requiring long term surveillance. Maintain patient database. Telephone triage, medication refill request adjudication, disability or other pertinent form completion, provision of clinical information required by support staff for patient care (pre certs, authorizations, hospital admissions). Communicates with hospital team to ensure seamless and individualized plan of care for neurosurgery patient pre and post admission.
