The ideal candidate will have a Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance or Business (or 10 years of experience)
5 years of hands-on related hospital/healthcare budgeting.
Hands-on experience preparing and analyzing acute care hospital budgets and third party cost reports is strongly preferred.Â
They will be an experienced Manager or Senior Budget/Reimbursement Analyst with the skills and experience to function independently.
Fire and Safety Certification.Â If no card upon hire, one must be obtained within 30 days of hire, and maintained by renewal before expiration date.Â
The Director of Budget is responsible for the Hospitalâs overall budget planning, tracking, and management of corrective actions as related to the execution of the hospitalâs budget and financial operations. This position is also responsible for serving as the hospitalâs central liaison for matters related to budget and finance. In particular, the Budget Director will coordinate the hospitalâs formal budget program monitoring all fiscal activity throughout the fiscal year.
