Maintains the daily operations of the Admissions Welcome Center including greeting visitors, answering phones, processing requests of students, families, faculty and staff. This position supports the recruitment efforts of the admissions counselors in meeting the recruitment goals.
Coordinate all campus visits including, partnership HS, campus tours, instant decision days and other such events that bring individuals or groups to campus for the purpose of recruitment.
Host welcoming environment for guests of campus on the phone, in email and in person within the Admissions Welcome Center.
Provide resources to counselors, faculty and staff that are attending off site recruitment opportunities.
Prepare and mail admissions materials.
Must be an enthusiastic, people-oriented person that enjoys working with high school and college students.
Must have exceptional organization skills, a keen sense of details and have an ability to do a multitude of tasks.
Strong computer skills for coordinating campus visits with multiple software systems & campus partners.
Detail orientated person that helps coordinate multiple offices and departments in the delivery of strong customer service.
Must be comfortable utilizing and learning multiple software for completion of daily work.
Expertise in generating letters through mail merge and excel for and recruitment communications for mailing.
Reviewing and managing of event registrations and communications.
Providing support at on-campus admissions events including information sessions, open houses, accepted students day and enrollment events.
Must be able to communicate with prospective students and parents and guidance counselors as part of the application and enrollment processes.
Evening and weekend work will be required on scheduled event dates and during peak admission cycles.

Other duties as assigned.
The minimum qualifications for this position are:
High School diploma or some college credits.
Excellent professional demeanor
Proficiency using Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and other email, database and spreadsheet applications.
Excellent listening, communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to communicate clearly in person and writing
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, students and the general public
Ability to maintain the highest degree of confidentiality
Ability to work independently, completing work in a thorough and timely manner and balancing competing demands with courtesy and tact
Ability to quickly learn and retain a large body of general University information, including activities, functions, personnel, rules, policies, regulations, procedures, etc.
The preferred but not required qualifications for this position are:
Associates or Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
Experience using student information systems, customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
