Cycle for Survival is seeking a passionate, highly motivated, hard-working Development Officer for Leadership Giving to join its team.
Working directly with the Senior Manager for Leadership Giving, you will be responsible for proactively cultivating relationships and soliciting gifts from Cycle for Survivals participants and donors. In addition, you will manage leadership giving initiatives for Kids Walk for MSK Kids. You will also have an opportunity to collaborate with other teams across the Office of Development.

Manage a portfolio of individual prospects that are capable of making $10,000 - $99,999 gifts to Cycle for Survival and $1,500+ gifts to Kids Walk for MSK Kids.
Leverage prospect management resources and conduct online research to identify and qualify prospective leadership donors.
Cultivate and solicit prospects and steward donors through personal meetings, high-touch emails, and phone calls in coordination with Market Managers.
Develop and execute plans to upgrade and renew gifts en masse during matching challenges and special campaigns.
Assist in developing donor proposals and research progress updates.
Ensure that all leadership giving prospect assignments, plans, steps, and interactions are reflected in database.
Create tracking systems to monitor donor contacts and fundraising performance.
Manage the acknowledgement process for leadership donors and end of season gratitude project.
Support the execution of high-profile events, including the annual Battle Summit.
Travel, both local and national, may be required.

At least 4 years of professional experience with 2 or more years in nonprofit fundraising (including soliciting, cultivating, or stewarding individual donors).
Proven success in building strong interpersonal relationships.
Fluency in MS Office.
Knowledge of/interest in healthcare or science is a plus.
