Responsible for development of wellness strategies including but not limited to: monthly employee newsletter/bulletin boards, after work wellness activities, coordinate with PEBB for screenings and programs, annual wellness fair, and local gym discounts. Perform annual health appraisals using approved protocols for all employees at various site locations. Provide introduction trainings and fitness education.
Implement the Prepare for Work: Movement Program at all sites. Evaluate, correct, and instruct employees on proper exercise techniques. Proactively provide appropriate direction to employees performing dangerous or harmful exercises.
Provide wellness education sessions monthly. Includes presenting materials and securing guest speakers/workshops.
Present monthly progress reports on wellness activities, participation and ROI.

This position requires travel throughout Oregon, working remotely with the majority of travel through the central swath of Oregon. Coverage includes but is not limited to main district offices in Bend, The Dalles, and Klamath Falls. Maintenance stations located in The Dalles, Arlington, Warm Springs, Condon, Moro, Madras, Prineville, Maupin, Mitchell, Brothers, Sisters, Bend, LaPine, Silver Lake, Chemult, Lakeview, Adel, Alkali Lake, Lake of the Woods, Chiloquin, and Klamath Falls.
This position requires a high level of physical activity, including standing for extended periods of time, demonstrating equipment use, and spotting. Ability to lift a minimum of 80 pounds essential. Requires a valid Oregon driver\u2019s license, vehicle and the ability to drive up to 8 hours.
