A PhD in peace studies, criminology, sociology, or other related fields is preferred, but ABD will be considered. The ideal candidate will have experience in both higher education teaching and grassroots community engagement, in a global or local setting. In addition to strong scholarship and teaching, the candidate will demonstrate capacity to take initiative, develop and implement social justice programming, oversee student internships in the field, and grow sustainable relationships with community partners.Candidates for this position must have academic expertise in public policy and the criminal justice system as well as strong community engagement experience.
