Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Program Coordinator for the Department of Community Affairs at the Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
Working with the Program Administrators, the Program Coordinator provides direct support for the Project Echo. The individual is the primary person for coordinating all meetings and project activities. The Program Coordinator also assists in the oversight of program costs and processes invoices accordingly.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
Coordinates all assigned Project ECHO program operations, sessions, management of participant rosters, calendar invites, and participant-submitted patient referrals/cases
Manages ECHO program schedule and calendar, schedules Hub meetings, and secures conference rooms for the Program
Acts as customer service liaison for Project ECHO programs with participating participants and Hub members
Outreaches potential leads through phone calls and supports other recruitment activities as requested (attend conferences, develop presentation material, assist with other marketing activities) to grow the number of providers participating in ECHO
Conducts onboarding activities with new participants: 1 on 1 discussion on the program, how to participate, how to use the technology and submit a patient referral for discussion
Monitoring the ongoing satisfaction and participation of the participants in the program, including participating in any QI and root cause analysis to determine how to continuously improve the experience and impact of the program for the participants; including data collection and journaling of operation activities and outcomes
In conjunction with the Program Director/Program Administrator, maintains a pipeline of patient referrals/cases
Minimum Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field.
Three (3) years of progressively more responsible administrative experience.
Equivalent experience, education and/or training may be substituted for the education requirements.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required as well as proficiency in MS Office applications.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Standing, sitting, walking, talking and hearing. No special vision requirements. Must be able to lift or exert up to 25 lbs.
