Gannon University, a Catholic University, invites applications for a full-time, 12-month Assistant Women’s Lacrosse Coach and Ticket Manager; this is a salaried position and is eligible for tuition remission after one year of service. Gannon’s athletic program includes 24 varsity sports, in which 18 sports compete at the NCAA Division II level. Responsibilities include assisting and supporting the head coach with planning, practice and game scheduling, and instruction and coaching of the team. In addition, the successful candidate will have direct oversight of ticket sales; reporting to the Assistant Director of Athletics for Business & Finance. Candidates must be able to support and promote the University’s Mission.
Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree; a valid driver’s license with a good driving history; working knowledge of PSAC and NCAA regulations; and the ability to pass the NCAA recruiting/education module on an annual basis. Successful candidates must have collegiate-level coaching or playing experience and the ability to teach and coach lacrosse skills and strategy. In addition, must possess basic accounting skills.
