The Department of Mathematics at the University of California, Davis, is soliciting applications for one or more Arthur J. Krener Assistant Professor positions, starting July 1, 2020.
The Arthur J. Krener Assistant Professor (KAP) Program was approved by the UCOP in 2006. The KAP positions are renewable for a total of three years with satisfactory performance in research and teaching. Applicants are required to have completed their Ph.D. by the time of their appointment, but no earlier than July 1, 2016. The Department seeks applicants in any of the research areas of faculty interest. A ladder faculty member will be appointed to mentor the KAP appointee. The faculty mentor will serve as the KAP's research advisor, teaching mentor, and supervisor for extramural grant applications. We will announce the position through our planned advertisement.
