The Associate Director of Admissions for the Kellogg School of Management Evening & Weekend program will be an active member of the Admissions leadership team and will be responsible for overseeing all admissions activities of the Evening & Weekend program, with a focus on attracting the best and brightest candidates to Kellogg. The Associate Director of Evening & Weekend Admissions will be a strategic thought leader helping achieve the school’s admissions and enrollment goals. He/she will provide strategic direction and leadership to market, recruit, select and yield highly competitive students for the Evening & Weekend MBA Program. To achieve our goals, this role partners with a broad range of key stakeholders at Kellogg including Marketing and Communications, Corporate Partnerships, Student Affairs, Career Management Center, Financial Aid, Advancement, along with students and alumni. He/she will lead and supervise the Evening & Weekend Program Admissions team and will report to the Sr. Director of Executive and Evening & Weekend MBA Admissions.
The Associate Director of Admissions, Evening & Weekend Program, must be a brave, sophisticated manager, prudent risk taker; analytical-minded, results-oriented, with an appetite for data and analytic and a driver of both conventional and cutting edge methods to engage prospective students. As an ambassador of Kellogg, the Associate Director of Admissions, Evening & Weekend Program, will need to represent Kellogg effectively to external constituents and possess superb communication, presentation and persuasion skills.
Working conditions: Ability to work some weekends and evenings as needed; flexibility in schedule required for managing peaks periods throughout the year.

Develop and execute the recruiting strategy for the Evening & Weekend Program at the Kellogg School of Management
Partners with the Sr. Director of Executive and Evening & Weekend MBA Admissions and Director of Strategic Planning and Outreach to develop and implement the strategic recruitment strategy that establishes a strong overarching Kellogg brand.
Partners with the Sr. Director of Executive and Evening & Weekend MBA Admissions to establish a multi-faceted approach, leveraging new technologies and generational changes and expectations.
Partners with the Sr. Director of Executive and Evening & Weekend MBA Admissions to design and deliver an integrated program to support candidate’s decision to choose to attend Kellogg vs. other options.
Builds and maintains collaborative relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to increase program visibility and support.
Lead and manage a team of 5 admissions team members, temps, and hundreds of alumni and student volunteers and develop/coach professional team to meet high performance standards and ensure consistency in delivering the Kellogg brand from multiple constituents. Build and maintain a strong, cohesive internal team that is knowledgeable, interactive, and leverages multiple cross-functional partnerships within the organization.
Motivates team members to lead through influence and promote effective working relationships and professional growth.
Supports direct reports in delivering the right tools/access for successfully operationalize admissions strategy.
With the Sr. Director of Executive and Evening & Weekend MBA Admissions, creates a plan to drive awareness of the Evening & Weekend program across the country.
Partners with Sr. Director of Executive and Evening & Weekend MBA Admissions, Evening & Weekend team and Admissions leadership team members to continue to innovate the product offering.
Partners with the Sr. Director of Executive and Evening & Weekend MBA Admissions to make recommendations and gain approval on regular enrollment goals. Work with team to ensure goals are met and managed closely.
Partners with the Director of Strategic Planning and Outreach to develop and implement the strategic recruitment strategy that establishes a strong overarching Kellogg brand.
Partners with the Sr. Director of Executive and Evening & Weekend MBA Admissions to actively monitor peer school actions and generate peer school analysis, polls applicants on marketplace relevance, and finally aggregate/synthesize data shares this market intelligence with relevant stakeholders.
Develops and maintains data to ensure timely reporting of admissions statistics to track trend analysis and make recommendations toward strategic goals.
Partners with the Sr. Director of Executive and Evening & Weekend MBA Admissions to provide the School’s leadership team with forecasts, analyses, strategic options, advice and recommendations regarding admissions strategy and enrollment planning.
Manages Evening & Weekend MBA Admissions budget.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, skills and experience.
5-8 years of professional experience.
2-3 years of admissions experience is strongly preferred, and/or similar experience in recruitment in a similar field.
2-3 years of direct team management/leadership is strongly preferred.
Demonstrated ability and passion for building something – understands how to generate demand, puts together a plan and executes against it.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Confident, energetic, professional presenting in front of large groups.
Strong customer service skills and ability to build and foster strong relationships.
Willingness to facilitate open and effective communication, cooperation, and teamwork within and outside of one’s own team.
