The College anticipates filling an Office Assistant 1 (SG-6) position in the near future. The position is assigned in the Business Office. Work schedule for the position is Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30
Processing invoices for approval giving priority to discount vendors.Record on invoice reason for not taking discount or delay in payment.
Follow up with Fund Custodians/approvers to ensure payment is processed within 1 month from the date of service for the non-discount vendors.
Contact vendors with invoices received after 1 week from date to correct address or determine delay.
Key invoices in SUNY web system and create folders with matching voucher with IDL's.
Process Travel advances and vouchers with exception of Admissions department.Process TravelNet Cards following up on discrepancies and answering questions, performing duties as the program administrator, tracking and ordering cards and reconciling charges to the monthly Citibank statement
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Must have taken and passed the NYS Civil Service Exam and or currently hold a transferrable title.
