Advertised Job Summary:
Direct the activities of the waste management and recycling staff engaged in operations of the Facilities Department. Coordinate inspections to evaluate the condition and operation of waste management equipment and vehicles, recycling equipment and hazardous waste processes. Prepare work orders and project work for service and repairs of waste management and recycling equipment. Coordinate data collection to meet reporting requirements. Manages data entry function of Gamecock Waste & Recycling route, pickup and cost information. Updates and coordinates the distribution of route schedules. Runs daily and weekly reports for staff. Assists with benchmarking, planning, data analysis and goal setting. Ensures record keeping is up to date to meet various compliance, DHEC reporting and auditing requirements. Work with other facilities staff to provide monthly and annual reports and data as needed. Develops presentations as needed. Develops reports for DHEC, campus, the EAC and other management groups.
Advertised Minimum Qualifications :
High School Diploma and 6 years of experience in the waste management, recycling trades industry, or similar environmental initiatives.
South Carolina Driver’s License required.
