Western Kentucky University's Office of the Registrar is seeking applicants for the position of Associate Registrar. Under the direction of the Registrar, the Associate Registrar oversees the front-line service for the Office of the Registrar.
The following duties are customary for this position but are not to be construed as all-inclusive. Duties may be added, deleted, and assigned based on management discretion and institutional needs.
This includes the issuance of transcripts, the start and end of term processing, and addressing registration issues. In addition, the position ensures the accuracy of the academic records of all WKU students and provides oversight for repeat processing, academic renewal, grade changes, and the recording of proficiency credit. This position supports the maintenance of other Registrar's Office system functions such as degree audit and Banner.
Master's Degree in related field such as Higher Education, Leadership, Public Administration and Policy, College Student Personnel, or related field.
Strong knowledge of relevant technologies.
Experience in supervising, hiring, training and development and evaluating professional and/or support staff.
Increasingly responsible experience in a Registrar's Office, academic advising, or other academic related setting with increased supervisory and/or leadership responsibilities.
Demonstrated experience in collaborating and communicating with faculty, student life, and student services staff, colleagues, and administrators to advance the Office of the Registrar.
Salary Grade: 110 Salary Range: $48,000 - 50,000
