Stewards the activities (communication and programming) for volunteers on the university's executive-level boards, including the new committees associated with the capital campaign. Provides interaction with and shows appreciation toward executive-level volunteers, and donors, while seeking to engage, train and steward their engagement towards the university's objectives and in tandem with campaign goals and development business plans and objectives.
Utilize best practice volunteer relations communications, publications and programs in volunteer relations service delivery.
Provide coordination and support to Campaign Executive Committee (CEC), including meeting coordination and ongoing communications, in tandem with the Vice Chancellor/Vice President, University Advancement, Assistant Vice Presidents of Development, and Executive Director, Campaign Strategic Initiatives.
Assist in the coordination and organization of college/unit-based campaign committees in tandem with development officers.
Provide support to activities and initiatives of Board of Visitors (BoV) and Energy Advisory Board (EAB).
Assist in the execution of events instrumental to board programming and the recruitment and retention of members.
Assist in the development of strategic Advancement communications and marketing collateral in support of board activities and membership, in tandem with Advancement communications personnel.
Support the planning and execution of board meetings; including support in preparing written and strategic collateral and presentation material for board meetings.
Support the planning and execution of outreach and high impact activities recommended by the board.
Performs additional duties as assigned.
Bachelors and 1 year experience
Requires a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or professional discipline; or the basic knowledge of more than one professional discipline. Knowledge of the discipline is normally obtained through a formal, directly job-related 4 year degree from a college or university or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed.Requires a minimum of one (1) year of directly job-related experience.
