This position will provide critical administrative support to Khoury College's Human Resources team for four campuses: Boston, Seattle, San Francisco, and San Jose. HR responsibilities include managing the hiring of Teaching Assistants at the undergraduate and graduate levels. This position will also manage the hiring of Research Assistants, Marketing/Events Assistants, and students participating in a Khoury College Co-op. This individual will provide critical administrative support to the Associate Dean of Administration & Planning, the Personnel Administration Manager and the HR Associate. This position requires an individual with proven skills in handling confidential materials, multi-tasking, and handling sensitive situations in a calm, thoughtful and professional manner. This position will also assist with the organization and maintenance of employee records and files.
Bachelor's degree preferred with 1-3 years of administrative or office experience, or 5+ years of experience in an administrative role in an academic or office setting. Exemplary communication, time management and organizational skills required. Excellent software skills including Outlook, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and the ability to learn new systems; Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative, multitask and prioritize in fast-paced and high-pressure environment; accuracy and attention to detail; excellent judgement; exert courteous and professional manner; diplomacy and problem-solving skills. Must be able to maintain high level of confidentiality.
