Research Support - Laboratory/Non-Laboratory, Staff/Administrative

Summary of Duties:
Works under the direct supervision of Dr. Matthew Reilly to study the progression of experimentally-induced traumatic optic neuropathy (TON) including conducting injury, imaging, and electrophysiology experiments; presentation of data; monitor wellbeing of research subjects; assist in developing protocols; assist in training/overseeing of other laboratory members and students; assist PI with writing abstracts, research papers, and progress reports; manage laboratory logistics; manage and maintain laboratory equipment and supplies; order supplies and equipment.

Bachelor's degree in BME, biology, biochemistry, or related area; at least one year of experience in animal welfare/monitoring, motivated, detail-oriented with a strong interest in collaborative laboratory research.
