Under the direction of the Senior Director of Diversity Outreach and Inclusion (DOI), within the College of Engineering (CoE), provides assistance to the DOI team with the planning and implementation of various events and activities for undergraduate students; provides general support to business office functions (e.g. purchases event supplies, secures catering, processes procurement card purchases, and prepares budget reports); assists with coordinating event meeting room space; oversees DOI spring banquet registration for sponsors and alumni; responsible for submitting website updates for banquets; provides administrative support for DOI staff (e.g. coordinates meetings, schedules rooms and registrations, assists with and supports al DOI initiatives and programs, etc.; serves as a liaison between DOI and other departments and/or offices within CoE; works on special projects; perform other related duties as assigned.

Six months of experience (600 hours of training) using computers to generate a variety of materials ranging from basic to complex; six months of experience (600 hours of course work) in office practices and procedures; six months of experience (600 hours of course work) in customer service.
Experience working at a high level of administration at a higher education institution; strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment and self-motivated; attention to detail; ability to execute projects with minimal instruction; demonstrated experience working effectively as team member in an inclusive environment with diverse constituents and collaborators; experience utilizing social media; high proficiency in Word, Excel and Power Point.
Target Salary: $15.38 - $17.31 Hourly
