Summary of Duties:
Conducts, assists in the development, design, execution and control of scientific research as related to nuclear instrumentation and detection methods; coordinates the conduct of experimental tests and procedures in reactor based nuclear analytical techniques for advanced materials characterization; assists in the preparation of research results for dissemination through publications and presentations; assists graduate students with projects; prepares research results for dissemination through publications and presentations; assists in proposal preparation in efforts to seek external funding.
Master’s degree in nuclear engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience; Ability to translate, adapt and apply academic and/or practical knowledge to the conduct of engineering research.
Experience in an engineering research capacity.
Target Salary: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 Annually
