Bachelor's degree (foreign degree or higher) in hand by December 31, 2019. Professional or student experience working in a psychology lab. Ability to demonstrate professional competence in research activities.
Preferred Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree (foreign equivalent or higher) in Psychology or a related field, in hand by December 31, 2019. Experience working with children and parents in a research environment. Research experience. Bilingual in Spanish. Experience collecting physiological data.
Brief Description of Duties :
Conduct home and lab visits with participating families, partnering with child welfare agencies and community partners, and interfacing with graduate- and undergraduate-level research assistants in support of a large-scale NIMH-funded study examining the effectiveness of programs designed to support sensitive parenting and healthy early development. Therefore, the successful candidate will be highly motivated and have strategic and analytical thinking skills with an ability to solve problems and make effective decisions.
The successful incumbent will have excellent interpersonal skills, exercising strong organizational and time-management skills with an exceptional attention to detail. Essential for this role is the adeptness to work independently as well as part of a team with a collaborative approach to problem solving.

The Research Foundation of SUNY is a private educational corporation. Employment is subject to the Research Foundation policies and procedures, sponsor guidelines and the availability of funding.
