The Assistant Equipment Manager for Schoellkopf Hall and Teagle Hall coordinates the equipment needs for assigned athletic teams, including: issues pin bags, uniforms, protective equipment, sport equipment; repair and recondition equipment; fit protective equipment, assists in laundry operation for athletics and physical education. This position also travels with the Sprint Football team, works home games, and supervises student workers on the weekends. The normal schedule for this position is Thursday - Monday, 7:30 am - 3:00 PM. Hours and schedule subject to change depending on sport season and vacation coverage.

Effective interpersonal and customer service skills to clearly communicate both verbally and in writing with a variety of customers, and be poised to serve as a good steward of the university.
Athletic Equipment Managers Association Certification, or ability to be certified within two years.
CPR and First Aid certification required.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Ability to lift, move and carry (pushing and pulling) required.
Knowledge of a large variety of athletic equipment and football experience is preferred.
Computer use a must. Knowledge and use of Word, Excel and File Maker Pro preferred.
Supervisory experience preferred.
