Summary of Position: Continue current research on Muscle Grant related projects involving spectroscopic probes of myosin molecular dynamics. Publish papers and assist with grant writing.
Essential and Other Functions:
80% Spectroscopic probes of myosin molecular dynamics in muscle Continue working on muscle projects involving spectroscopic probes of myosin molecular dynamics.
20% Presentations, reports, publications, grants Present work at weekly group meetings and monthly one-on-one meeting with supervisor. Published papers based on your results, assist with grant applications with the goal of obtaining independent funding.
Required Qualifications: Advanced degree with substantial research and publication record
Preferred Qualifications: Advanced experience with myosin and actin biochemistry and cell culture.
