2019-2020 lecturer Search in English - Creative Writing
The Department of English seeks lecturers for classes in creative writing to be offered during the 2019-2020 school year.
Qualifications: Candidates must hold an MFA in Creative Writing or an MA in Creative Writing.
Eligibility and Application Procedure: Successful applicants must have experience and demonstrated competence teaching creative writing workshops at the college level.
The application procedure is as follows: a. Submit a letter of application, indicating in your opening paragraph that you wish to be considered for an appointment beginning in fall quarter 2019. Your letter should be no more than two pages and should include information about your teaching experiences and goals. It should indicate which genres of creative writing you are most qualified to teach: poetry, fiction, and/or creative nonfiction. b. Include with your letter of application, a CV that lists all relevant courses taught. c. A Statement of Contributions to Diversity. (optional)
NOTE: Candidates selected for further consideration will be asked to submit a teaching portfolio and a letter of recommendation.
